African Medical City Secures Development Site Following Execution of Land Lease

African Medical City (AMC) is pleased to announce the successful execution of the land lease for its flagship development site in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, marking a significant milestone in the project's institutional and development journey.
With the lease now fully executed, AMC has entered the next phase of project development. A cadastral survey is currently underway to establish the official surveyed boundaries of the development site, after which the project will proceed with land registration and the remaining technical and statutory requirements necessary for implementation.
This achievement represents the culmination of extensive planning, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with the traditional authorities and local community. African Medical City expresses its sincere appreciation to the Chief, family representatives, and all stakeholders whose cooperation has helped advance this important initiative.
The successful completion of the land lease strengthens the foundation for the project's next stage, which includes project readiness activities, strategic partnerships, technical studies, and preparation for a bankable feasibility study.
African Medical City is being developed as a world-class integrated healthcare, medical education, research, and innovation ecosystem that will improve access to high-quality healthcare while contributing to workforce development, medical research, and economic growth across Ghana and the African continent.
